According to an ancient myth derived from biblical texts, an eagle can live up to seventy years. The myth claims, however, that at the age of forty, they must undergo painful changes. At that time, the eagle experiences a transformation lasting 150 days which eventually results in the extension of the eagle’s life. The changes include breaking off its own beak and claws and plucking off its feathers so that new ones can grow in their place. This collection is inspired by the eagle’s mythical journey, illustrated through elements of deconstruction and asymmetry, as well as raw finishings and half-made pieces.
