The inspiration for this collection builds a parallel between women and mountains. Women and mountains both radiate an innate power and mystery. Like mountains hold the earth together with a quiet and undeniable strength, women hold societies together in a similar manner. This is illustrated in the pieces through a focus on the stiffness of the fabrics and volumes extending beyond the women’s silhouette.
