Cyborg - 2018
This collection is inspired by comparisons of the machine and the human body. The color palette prominent in the collection is industrial; holographic and metallic tones mimic the exterior of machinery. The cuts simulate the different parts of machines, whereas the flowing shapes are reflective of the immutable, emotional aspect of humankind. The material work of the collection appears in stitched and hand-painted human-like veins in the fabric or pieces stuffed with metallic wires, alluding to the interiors of machinery.
